Belt size guide

Two minutes with a tape measure is all this takes. An automatic belt is more forgiving than a hole belt, because the final fit is set by the ratchet rather than by punched positions.

1. Measure your waist

Measure around your waist through the trouser loops, over the clothes you normally wear — not around your bare waist and not your jeans label size. Waist labels are often 2–5 cm out.

If you don't have a tape measure, run a belt you already wear well and measure to the hole you use.

2. Choose your length

Take the next size up from your measurement:

  • 90 cm (S) — waist up to approximately 85 cm
  • 100 cm (M) — waist up to approximately 95 cm
  • 110 cm (L) — waist up to approximately 105 cm
  • 120 cm (XL) — waist up to approximately 115 cm

If you are between two lengths, take the longer one. Excess strap can be removed; missing strap cannot be added back.

3. Trim the strap

Fasten the belt as you would wear it, mark where the strap should end (just past the first belt loop on the far side), then remove the buckle, cut the strap square at the mark and refit the buckle. Cut slightly long first and take a second pass if needed.
